Police Jury to discuss RV park rules

On Friday, the Cameron Parish Police Jury will consider adopting stringent rules for future RV parks to be built in one part of Hackberry. The proposed rules, which have been advertised for several weeks, would apply only to Police Jury District 2, currently represented by Anthony “Dino” Hicks. A public hearing on the proposed rules will take place at the 10 a.m. agenda meeting, with the vote scheduled for the 3 p.m. voting meeting. Read More

Cameron Parish Administrator Ryan Bourriaque announced his candidacy Tuesday, Nov. 13, for State Representative, District 47 in the Special Election to replace State Senator-elect Bob Hensgens. The Special Election is set to be called in early 2019. Read More
