G2 LNG representatives explain project

Over 120 people visited the G2 LNG Open House in Cameron Tuesday to find out more about the proposed $11 billion natural gas liquefaction and export facility north of the Cameron Ferry on the west side of the Calcasieu Ship Channel. The company pre-filed with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commis-sion in December to start the permitting process. The formal FERC application is expected to be filed sometime this fall, with approval expected in the fall of 2017, after which construction would begin. Completion is expected in 2021. Read More
